Roy Edward Kendrick, my grandfather’s brother, was born on July 28, 1918, probably in Murray County, Georgia. He lived with his parents, Francis T. and Lizzie (West) Kendrick, in the northern part of Murray County until at least 1930. After having four children, he died in Murray County on October 14, 1974 and is buried at Calvary Baptist Church in Crandall.
