According to Hemphills in North Carolina, Thomas Lytle and Eliza Burgin were married at the Hemphill home, in the same ceremony as James M. Young and Margaret R. Hemphill.

Ben Hemphill and Fanny Saunders were married the same day, by the same minister, so presumably they were also married in the above ceremony.
