  • Notes  Married:
    • Fifth born of Phillip and Rosamond was born Sept. 14, 1704 Kent County, Maryland, married Martha Crisfield, ca. 1738. Exchanges of property at about the time of the marriage indicate that Phillip Crisfield deeded land to John Burgin, Sr. and later in his estate records, Ben Chrisfield is listed as “kin” along with Sutton and others. It was common in that time to refer to one's in-laws as relatives.
