Nickname Franky Birth Abt 1790 [3, 4, 5] - 1791-1800 -> age 40 to 49 on 1840 census
1781-1790 -> age 40 to 49 on 1830 census
Gender Female Census 1830 , Mcminn, Tennessee
[4] - "Franky Kindrick" appeared as head of household. The household included one male 10 to 14 (certainly Thomas), one female 5 to 9 (probably Susan), two females 10 to 14, two females 15 to 19 (one is possibly Elizabeth), and one female 40 to 50 (certainly Franky). Tempy and Elinor are probably two of the remaining females in the 10 to 14 and 15 to 19 age groups, leaving one more female in those age groups unknown.
Property 16 Apr 1837 , Mcminn, Tennessee
[6] - On 16 Apr 1837, Francis Kindrick of McMinn County, sold to John Rudd of McMinn 80 acres for $300. Situated in the 1st range, 4th township, 26th section and the E half of the SW corner - witnessed by Isaac Shook and J C Jackson.
Census 1840 , Polk, Tennessee
[3] - "Francis Kendrick" appeared as head of household. The household included 2 males under 5, one male 15 to 20 (probably Thomas), 1 female 15 to 20 (possibly Susan), 2 females 20 to 30 (one was probably Elinor), and one female 40 to 50 (certainly Francis).
Died Bef 26 Nov 1843 [2] - Death date is derived from the fact that she was not mentioned in a court action by her sister, Mina, against the heirs of Thomas Rudd (brother). The "children of Francis & Robt Hendrick" are named.
Notes - Thomas Rudd named the children of Francis and Robert Kendrick in his will. These children would have been nieces and nephews (Thomas Rudd is Franky Rudd's brother). This fact, coupled with the fact that Francis and Robert had a daughter named Tempy and Thomas and Mahala also had a daughter named Tempy, have convinced me that Robert and Francis are indeed the parents of my Thomas Kendrick (born 1821). This also convinces me that Francis (Franky) Rudd is the daughter of Harwood (Herrod) Rudd.

Hi,
I'm looking for information regarding my Thomas Kindrick, born 1821 in TN, who married Mahala Lawson born 1825, also in TN. Thomas had siblings Elizabeth b. 1811, Susan, Tempy J., and Elander (Elinor), all of TN. Their mother is Francis (Franky) Rudd, and their father is Robert Kendrick. Franky Rudd Kendrick appears on the 1830 McMinn Co., TN census, and in the 1840 Polk Co., TN census. She is already dead by 1846 according to her father's will. I would like to learn more about Robert Kendrick. I suspect that he is the child of Abel A. Kendrick of Hanover, VA. Please contact me if you have any further information, or if I can add to your information.
Thanks,
Janet Kendrick
