(65); and servants, Mira Lytle (B, 69) and Noah Henderson (W, 40).

  	He died in the Soldier's Home in Raleigh. Cause of death is difficult to read, but I believe it says "acute debilitation of heart," with myocarditis as a contributing factor.

  	According to Hemphills in North Carolina, they were married at the Hemphill home, in the same ceremony as James M. Young and Margaret R. Hemphill. Ben Hemphill and Fanny Saunders were married the same day, by the same minister, so presumably they were also married in the above ceremony. Marriage of "Eliza A. Burgin" and " Thos. Y. Lytle" recorded in the McDowell County Marriage Index. The marriage was performed by "Thomas N. Pazetom," which I think should by "Thomas N. Paxton." Thomas Y. Lytle's wife is reported as "Eliza Lytle" on his death certificate.
