- "William Rose, of Gr. Co. Will, dat. Dec. 1, 1768, prob. Jan'y Ct. 1769. To son Frederick my 300 A. plantation on Reed's creek, with sundry personalty to be delivered him when he is 21 yrs: (2) to son William 'my lower Tract of Land' on Reed's creek, 'known by the name of Smallwoods Plan', with sundry personalty to be delivered to him when he is 21 yrs; (3) to son Howel land and plantation whereon test, lives, but his mother is to have use of it her life time, and to be totally his at her death; (4) to daut. Sarah Williams £ 10 proc. money; (5) to daut. Elizabeth Rose £ 40 proc, to be paid at 21 years or marriage; (6)to daut. Winneyfred Rose, 1 negro, to be delivered at 21 yrs or marriage, and some cattle; (7) to daut. Patty Rose, 1 negro and £ 20 proc., to be delivered at 21 yrs or marriage; (8) to wife Ann 2 old negroes, houses, tools, 3 beds etc., and all the rest of his stock and h. h. furniture except 2 rifle guns, pork hogs and beef, the latter to be sold to pay debts, and at wife's marriage or death all the descend to son Howell, except necessary working tools, pots, pans and pewter to set up sons Frederick and Wm.
