Word Mosaics have been popping up in the geneablogger community lately as a fun way to showcase the surnames one is researching. Thanks to Sandra at I Never Knew My Father for inspiring me to finally create my own.
I thought this would be a good way to introduce my new blog series: Surname Saturday. I’ve been reading excellent Surname Saturday posts at Ancestories for a while and had the idea on my back burner. The idea has caught on with others, so I’m going to throw my hat in the ring as well.
I’ve written about surnames in the past (obviously – this IS a genealogy blog, after all). Surname Saturday will help keep me accountable with a regular blogging theme. I may not post every Saturday, but it will be a regular feature of this blog. Stop by next Saturday to read about the Kendricks.
