    His pension application states he was present when his company and regiment surrendered and discharged.

    On 19 Oct 1867, James A. McEntire swore an oath of allegiance to the United States and that he had resided in Georgia for the last 12 months.

    He filed an administration bond as principal for the estate of William M. McEntire. He was also named “temporary Admnr of the Goods, chattels and credits of WilliamM. McEntire decd.”

Wilson were witnesses on his behalf.
